The Home + Habitat Design Session is a custom, research-intensive service for homeowners, builders, and designers who want their project to reflect a genuine commitment to wildlife conservation – at every decision point, not just the obvious ones.
You share what you have. I spend two dedicated weekends immersed in your project – researching your site and region, studying the wildlife connected to your chosen cause, auditing your design and build decisions, crafting alternatives, and building a report that is specific to you, your land, and the animals your home will affect near and far. We close with a call to walk through everything together.
Every session is anchored in a Cause as Concept – a species, ecosystem, or conservation issue you choose that becomes the lens for every recommendation. Your countertop. Your floorplan. Your lighting. All of it filtered through what you care about most. This begins the story of your home.
What you bring: Your project at whatever phase it’s in – drawings, material selections, site info, inspiration, open questions. No need to have everything decided yet. I’m here to help whether we’re talking macro or micro, as long as wildlife has a voice in it.
What you receive: A custom Home + Habitat Report – a designed PDF with wildlife impact analysis, cause-specific guidance, and specific alternatives and recommendations you can take directly to your architect, builder, or retailer.

Here’s how it works
1. Tell me about your project and your chosen Cause as Concept
Fill out the intake form – your project stage, location, what you’re working with, and the conservation cause that matters most to you. A favorite animal, your local wildlife, ocean health, the trees outside your window. Whatever it is, that becomes the foundation of everything I build for you.
2. Sign, pay, and send your materials
Once you’ve signed and paid, send whatever you have – drawings, selections, site photos, open questions. I’ll take it from there.
3. I do the work
Over two dedicated weekends I research your specific project, your site, your region, and the wildlife connected to your cause – building your custom and action-packed report from the ground up.
4. We review it together
Your report arrives 48 hours before our call so you can read it first. Then we meet to walk through everything, answer questions, and map your next steps.
